The NXE 450mAh 2S 7.4V 30C Soft Case LiPo Battery is a compact and lightweight battery designed for smaller RC models where space and weight are critical.

With a tiny footprint of approximately 56 × 30 × 10mm and a weight of only around 30g, this battery is particularly well suited to small RC aircraft and other compact electric models requiring 2S LiPo power. It comes factory fitted with a JST power connector and XH balance connector.

Compact 2S Power

The 450SC302SJST uses a 2S LiPo configuration, providing a nominal voltage of 7.4V and reaching 8.4V when fully charged.

Its 450mAh capacity keeps the battery small and lightweight, while the 30C continuous discharge rating provides useful power delivery for compatible smaller electric power systems.

NXE also rates the pack for up to 60C burst discharge, allowing additional short-duration current delivery when required.

Lightweight Soft Case Design

One of the main advantages of this battery is its extremely compact construction. At approximately 56mm long, 30mm wide and 10mm thick, it can fit into models where conventional RC battery packs are simply too large.

At approximately 30g, it also keeps additional weight to a minimum – particularly important in small aircraft where battery weight can have a significant effect on performance and handling.

JST Connector

The battery comes factory fitted with a JST main power connector, commonly used on smaller RC models and electronics.

A separate XH balance connector allows the individual cells to be monitored and balanced correctly when charging with a suitable LiPo balance charger.

NXE Nano Technology

NXE's specifications describe this battery as using its NanoTech construction, including a laminated structure, Nano Coat technology and cell matching processes designed to achieve consistent capacity, voltage, resistance and discharge characteristics.

The manufacturer specifications also quote low self-discharge, low internal resistance and a cycle life of approximately 300–500 charge cycles under appropriate use and charging conditions.
