A: With Analogue Scalextric, it's nice and simple. Each car has its own lane and throttle, so you just plug it in and race. Digital Scalextric RC, on the other hand, is more complex. They add a whole new level of excitement with up to six cars that can race together on a two‑lane track. You can also change lanes with the press of a button, and the built‑in timing keeps track of laps. So, if you're looking for the full race experience with overtaking and blocking, Digital is the way to go.

Q: Can I use my old Scalextric track with a new Digital set?

A: In most cases, yes, you can use your old Scalextric track with a new Digital set. The Digital system is fully compatible with standard Scalextric track, so it all connects together. Just make sure you use the Digital powerbase and power supplies that come with the set, as the standard ones won't work with Digital.
