The TRF104 is a high-spec Formula One chassis that takes the genre to a new level! This hi-spec 2WD formula chassis, built around carbon fibre and aluminum chassis components, with the front lower arms crafted from carbon fibre plate, makes it a formidable opponent on the racetrack! Furthermore, the chassis features updated front and rear suspension, plus an updated R/C equipment layout which is compatible with Li-Po batteries.

Key New Features:

1. Updated front suspension:
   Features plastic upper A-arms.
   Camber angle is adjustable freely from +1 to -3 degrees (approximate) using a 2mm hex wrench.
   Caster angle is also adjustable at 6, 9 and 12 degrees. (approximate).
2. Updated rear suspension:
   Suspension link and T-bar setup are not used. Instead, ball connectors are equipped at motor mount front and rear, and the suspension roll is placed at the centre of the chassis.
   The model centering is controlled by roll springs under the rear shaft, and friction grease on roll dampers in the motor mount allows adjustment of roll speed.
   The pitching is controlled by FRP suspension plate flex and a TRF damper.
3. R/C equipment layout:
   Formula chassis can lose rear grip because of unbalanced weight. To prevent this problem, the battery pack, receiver and servo are positioned at the centre of the chassis to ensure better rear grip.
4. Compatible battery packs:
   A square-shaped battery holder is included for Li-Po battery packs to comply with U.S. open-class regulations.
   Motor mount:
   Motor mount has parts for adjustment of ground clearance and wheelbase: 5 types of ground clearances are adjustable in 0.8mm steps and two wheelbases can be chosen with a difference of 2.5mm.
5. Steering servo AND; steering linkage:
   The laid-down steering servo is about 30mm backwards compared to the TRF103 chassis, ensuring a low center of gravity.
   Features a choice of 4 types of steering linkage adjustments over a range of about 1.8mm length by changing Ackerman plate position to keep direct steering.
6. Rear differential unit:
   The rear differential unit is the same as the one used for the TRF103 chassis. The lightweight and durable carbon fibre shaft limits weight and ensures compatibility with relatively heavy rubber tyres.
7. Two rear wing mount options:
   A 2mm thick carbon fibre plate is used to attach the rear wing. In this case, the rear wing is connected to the motor mount, and it moves along with rear suspension.
   When adding separately sold Item 53596 Aluminum Servo Stays (Short) as wing mount to attach the rear wing, the rear wing is connected to the suspension plate, and it does not move along with the rear suspension. (It remains horizontal even if the rear suspension moves.)
8. Front suspension arms:
   2.5mm thick carbon fibre front lower suspension arms have two attachment positions (3mm adjustment for each side) to adjust its width and attach wheels with different offsets.
   If using separately sold Item 54153 (F103 Carbon Reinforced Front Suspension Arm) and 53119 (RD Special King Pin Set), the width can be changed to the same 200mm width as the TRF 103 chassis.
9. Full ball bearings:
   1060 Sealed Flanged Ball Bearings (New) x2.
   1050 Sealed Ball Bearing 4 pcs.
