Toyota developed this high-spec version of the sixth generation Celica with the aim of repeating in 1994 their global rally championship of the previous year. Now it appears as a radio control model assembly kit with a polycarbonate body recreating the car's classic form and separately molded parts adding plenty of detail. 

Tamiya welcomes this limited edition version of Item 58743 1/10 R/C Toyota Celica GT-FOUR (ST205) (TT02) with the polycarbonate body pre-painted in Black (PS-5) with Smoke (PS-31) windows, pre-cut wheel arches and pre-made body mount holes, which is great for not only beginners but also R/C veterans.

About the model: 

• The lightweight, durable 1.0mm-thick polycarbonate body authentically captures the Toyota Celica GT-Four (ST205) in style.
• The model utilizes the efficient shaft-driven 4WD TT-02 chassis which features superior adaptability and stability.
• 10-spoke wheels moulded in Gun Metal are paired with tread pattern racing radial tyres.
• Please note the body requires cutting out, painting and attachment of parts, application of stickers, and other work.

TT-02: Adaptable, balanced shaft driven 4WD
The shaft-driven 4WD TT-02 chassis employs a longitudinal layout with the battery on the left and the motor on the right, to give excellent stability. In addition, it features identical left and right suspension arms and uprights for ease of assembly, plus easy-to-maintain gearboxes. It is a highly adaptable chassis, as it offers 2 different wheelbases, 2 ground clearance settings and 2 tread set-ups in addition to a range of 10 possible gear ratios. It is not short on looks either, with brake disc-shaped wheel hubs and stylish front bumper supports.
