The Tamiya Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO recreates one of the world's most successful GT3 racing cars as a highly detailed 1/10 scale electric RC assembly kit.

Tamiya 47519-600 is a special Limited Edition featuring a factory pre-painted Metallic Orange polycarbonate body mounted on Tamiya's proven TT-02 shaft-driven 4WD chassis. The body also comes with the wheel arches pre-cut and body mounting holes already made, saving considerable preparation time while still giving you the enjoyment of building the chassis yourself.

Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO

The full-size Mercedes-AMG GT3 is a purpose-built Customer Racing machine combining sophisticated aerodynamics, excellent drivability and proven endurance-racing reliability.

Powered by an AMG 6.3-litre naturally aspirated V8, the real GT3 produces approximately 550hp (404kW) and 650Nm of torque. Tamiya's model captures the aggressive long-nose, short-deck proportions and extensive aerodynamic detailing of the competition car.

Factory-Painted Metallic Orange Body

One of the standout features of 47519 is its factory-finished body.

The lightweight polycarbonate Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO shell comes pre-painted Metallic Orange, with tinted windows plus black grille and rear diffuser sections already applied.

The wheel arches are also pre-cut and the body mounting holes are already drilled, substantially reducing the amount of body preparation required.

A comprehensive sticker set adds the black roof and side graphics along with the grille, Mercedes three-pointed star and numerous other scale details.

Detailed Aerodynamic Components

Tamiya has reproduced the GT3 EVO's extensive aerodynamic package with plenty of separate detailing.

The model features polycarbonate front canards, separate headlight and taillight cases, detailed side mirrors and a large polycarbonate rear wing supported by injection-moulded stays.

These details give the completed car a much more realistic appearance than a basic touring-car shell.

TT-02 Shaft-Driven 4WD Chassis

Underneath the Mercedes body is Tamiya's popular TT-02 chassis.

The TT-02 uses a shaft-driven four-wheel-drive system, with the battery positioned longitudinally on the left and the motor on the right to provide a well-balanced chassis layout.

It's an excellent chassis for newcomers thanks to its straightforward construction, while its huge range of optional parts gives more experienced owners plenty of opportunities for future upgrades.

251mm Short Wheelbase

This particular Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO uses the 251mm short-wheelbase configuration of the TT-02.

The chassis can accommodate multiple wheelbase, ride-height, track-width and gearing configurations, making the TT-02 one of Tamiya's most versatile touring-car platforms.

Double-Wishbone Suspension

The TT-02 features independent double-wishbone suspension on all four wheels.

Its symmetrical left and right suspension arms and uprights help simplify assembly and parts replacement, while friction dampers provide straightforward suspension control.

There is also a huge selection of optional TT-02 suspension and tuning components available for owners who want to further improve the chassis.

Front & Rear Gear Differentials

Both the front and rear gearboxes contain 4-bevel plastic gear differentials, allowing smooth differential action while cornering.

The enclosed gearboxes also help protect the drivetrain components during normal running.

Multiple Gear Ratio Options

The standard kit provides an 8.27:1 overall gear ratio.

With separately available pinion gears, the TT-02 can be configured with a total of 10 different gear ratios ranging from 11.38:1 through to 7.28:1, allowing the gearing to be adjusted for different motors and driving conditions.

Black Mesh Wheels & Racing Slick Tyres

The aggressive GT3 appearance is completed with black mesh-design wheels wrapped in semi-pneumatic racing slick tyres.

Brake-disc-shaped wheel hubs add another small scale detail behind the wheels.

Type 540 Motor Included

A Type 540 brushed motor is supplied with the kit, providing dependable performance for the TT-02 chassis.

The Australian 47519-600 package is also listed with an Electronic Speed Controller included, leaving the radio system, steering servo, battery and charger to be selected separately.

You'll need a suitable 2-channel transmitter and receiver, steering servo, 7.2–7.4V drive battery, compatible battery charger and transmitter batteries.

Because the body is already painted, polycarbonate body paint is not required, making this version considerably quicker and easier to complete than the standard clear-body version.
