Tamiya 1/700 U.S. Aircraft Carrier CV-3 Saratoga Plastic Model Kit

The Tamiya U.S. Aircraft Carrier CV-3 Saratoga is a 1/700 scale plastic assembly model kit depicting the famous Lexington-class carrier as she appeared during the Battle of Iwo Jima in February 1945.

Please note this is an unassembled plastic model kit requiring assembly; paints, cement and hobby tools are not included and are required to complete the model.

Saratoga was originally laid down as a battlecruiser before being converted into an aircraft carrier during construction. Her slim hull, enclosed bow and large centrally positioned starboard funnel gave her a distinctive appearance. The model represents her 1945 configuration, including her enlarged starboard bulge and late-war equipment.
