Tamiya 1/700 Yubari Light Cruiser Plastic Model Kit

The Tamiya Yubari Light Cruiser is a 1/700 scale plastic assembly model kit depicting the innovative Japanese light cruiser Yubari in her 1944 configuration.

Please note this is an unassembled plastic model kit requiring assembly; paints, cement and hobby tools are not included and are required to complete the model.

Yubari was designed to incorporate the firepower of a 5,500-ton cruiser into a compact 3,100-ton hull. Her innovative design featured a large flared forecastle and two funnels trunked into one, features that influenced later Japanese Navy ship designs. The kit depicts Yubari as she appeared in 1944 with additional anti-aircraft armament.
