Full Description
The XRAY XB2C ’27 is a competition 2WD buggy developed for carpet racing, with a setup focused on stability, precise steering and consistent cornering on high-grip surfaces. Supplied as an unassembled kit, it lets racers choose their electronics and prepare the car for their preferred racing class.

The mid-length chassis is machined from 2.5mm Swiss 7075-T6 aluminium. Carefully positioned milling controls chassis flex, while the 2027 mounting layout accommodates an optional narrow suspension holder for additional geometry adjustment.

Steering updates include arms extended by 2mm, matching steering plates and revised carbon steering block extensions. These changes sharpen response, while graphite ball joints reduce linkage friction under load.

Longer titanium rear shock standoffs improve the shock angle for carpet conditions. The suspension combines big-bore dampers with matched 4-dot springs, giving racers a starting setup suited to high traction.

The included 3G gearbox provides access to the gear differential for maintenance. A ventilated two-pad slipper clutch helps manage heat during carpet racing, while adjustable chassis bracing allows further handling changes. The platform also supports an optional 5G gearbox conversion without replacing the chassis.
