Traxxas X-Maxx Ultimate 8S 4WD Brushless Monster Truck – Blue X Edition

Experience large-scale RC performance with the Traxxas X-Maxx Ultimate Blue X Edition. Combining powerful 8S brushless performance with factory-installed aluminium upgrades, massive belted tyres and premium suspension, this monster truck is built for demanding off-road driving.

Measuring 779mm long and 540mm wide, the X-Maxx Ultimate has the size and ground clearance to tackle rough terrain with authority. The Blue X graphics complete its aggressive appearance, while its upgraded steering and chassis components deliver the precision expected from the Ultimate edition.

Velineon 8S Brushless Power

The Velineon 1200XL 1275kV brushless motor works with the VXL-8s waterproof electronic speed controller to deliver strong acceleration and substantial torque.

Powered by two compatible 4S LiPo batteries, the system provides a combined 8S setup for high-performance driving. Cooling fans help manage operating temperatures, while the ESC includes integrated telemetry.

The X-Maxx Ultimate is capable of 80km/h+ with two 4S LiPo batteries and optional speed gearing. Batteries, charger and optional gearing are sold separately.

Factory-Installed Aluminium Upgrades

The Ultimate edition includes aluminium components throughout key areas of the truck:

These upgrades add rigidity and precision to the suspension, steering and drivetrain, with anodised finishes that complement the truck’s appearance.

Premium GTX Aluminium Shocks

The GTX aluminium shocks feature large oil capacity, threaded adjustment rings and titanium-nitride-coated shafts for smooth suspension action.

Their damping helps control the truck over bumps and rough ground. Threaded collars make spring preload adjustments convenient, allowing you to refine the suspension setup for your driving conditions.

Massive Belted Sledgehammer Tyres

The 8.4-inch belted Sledgehammer tyres give the X-Maxx Ultimate a commanding stance and substantial ground clearance.

Internal belting helps control tyre expansion at speed, maintaining a more consistent shape for predictable handling. The open tread pattern provides traction on loose terrain and helps clear dirt and debris.

Upgraded Steering and Stability Management

The 2085RL high-output metal-gear steering servo delivers powerful steering control for the oversized tyres.

Traxxas Stability Management — TSM helps maintain direction during acceleration on slippery or loose surfaces. Its assistance can be adjusted to suit your preference and driving conditions.

TQi Radio with Wireless Connectivity

The included TQi 2.4GHz radio system features a factory-installed Traxxas Link wireless module. Pair it with a compatible mobile device and the Traxxas Link app to access tuning adjustments and supported telemetry information.

Convenient Body and Battery Access

The clipless body mounting system allows quick body removal, while internal reinforcements provide additional support during rollovers.

The Snap-Lock battery retention system secures the batteries without conventional straps. A modular composite chassis also provides convenient access for servicing.
