The Traxxas Mini Maxx BL-2S packs the power, durability and aggressive performance of the Maxx family into a compact, backpack-friendly four-wheel-drive monster truck.

Its waterproof BL-2S brushless power system delivers rapid acceleration, wheelie capability and speeds exceeding 48km/h. The efficient 3300Kv brushless motor features an integrated cooling fan, while the programmable BL-2S electronic speed controller provides Sport, Race and Training drive profiles.

Although similar in size to a conventional 1/16 scale vehicle, the Mini Maxx incorporates heavy-duty components inspired by Traxxas 1/10 scale monster trucks. Its full-time four-wheel-drive transmission, sealed steel-gear differentials and Extreme Heavy Duty telescoping driveshafts provide the strength required for jumps, rough terrain and high-energy bashing.

The modular composite chassis is designed to distribute impact forces while providing straightforward access for servicing. Long-travel suspension and full-size Ultra Shocks deliver controlled damping over uneven surfaces, while large four-inch Sledgehammer tyres provide dependable traction across dirt, grass and loose terrain.

This orange version arrives fully assembled with a Traxxas 3500mAh 2S iD LiPo battery and two-amp USB-C balance charger included.

BL-2S Brushless Power System

The Traxxas BL-2S system provides efficient brushless power with minimal maintenance. Its 3300Kv motor uses ball bearings and an integrated cooling fan to maintain consistent performance.

The waterproof BL-2S electronic speed controller includes three programmable drive profiles:

• Sport Mode – Forward, brake and reverse

• Race Mode – Forward and brake only

• Training Mode – Reduces forward and reverse power to approximately 50%

Training Mode is useful for less experienced drivers or operating in smaller areas.

Maxx-Strength Drivetrain

The full-time four-wheel-drive system uses oversized components engineered for strength and reliable power delivery. Sealed steel-gear differentials distribute power to all four wheels, while the heavy-duty telescoping driveshafts accommodate the suspension’s full range of movement.

Long-Travel Suspension

Wide double-wishbone suspension and oil-filled Ultra Shocks give the Mini Maxx the travel required to absorb jumps and maintain stability across rough terrain.

Threaded shock bodies and preload spacers allow the ride height and suspension response to be adjusted for different surfaces.

Clipless Body System

The reinforced painted body uses Traxxas’ clipless retention system. The body locks securely into place but can be removed quickly without conventional body clips, simplifying battery changes and maintenance.
