The Absima AB2200013 RC Starter Set “Stick NiMH 2000” is a complete starter electronics package designed for RC car kits that are supplied without radio equipment, steering servo, battery or charger.

This version combines Absima's SR4S 4-channel 2.4GHz stick transmitter and waterproof receiver with an S60PH 6kg steering servo, 7.2V 2000mAh NiMH battery, USB-A charger and four AA transmitter batteries. It's particularly suitable for builders who prefer traditional twin-stick controls rather than a pistol-grip wheel transmitter.

SR4S 4-Channel Stick Radio

The included SR4S is a traditional stick-style transmitter with four channels and a secure 2.4GHz transmission system.

It provides the essential adjustments required when setting up an RC vehicle, including:

• Steering and throttle trim
• Steering and throttle reverse
• Dual Rate steering adjustment
• 4-channel operation

A compact waterproof mini receiver is supplied with the radio system, making it suitable for a wide variety of RC car and truck installations.

S60PH 6kg Steering Servo

Also included is Absima's S60PH steering servo, providing up to 6kg of steering torque.

The servo operates between 4.8 and 6.0V, features plastic internal gears and uses a 25T output spline. It's a practical general-purpose servo for many entry-level and recreational 1/10 RC vehicle builds.

7.2V 2000mAh NiMH Battery

The AB2200013 includes a standard-size 7.2V 2000mAh NiMH stick battery, making it particularly convenient for completing many traditional 1/10 electric RC kits.

The battery measures approximately 135 × 46 × 25mm and is fitted with 12AWG silicone wire and a Tamiya connector. Absima states that the standard dimensions suit almost all conventional 1/10 RC cars designed around this style of stick battery.

USB-A NiMH Charger

A matching USB-A charger is supplied for charging the included 7.2V NiMH battery.

Please Note

This starter set does not include a drive motor or electronic speed controller (ESC). These components are still required if they aren't supplied with the RC kit being completed. Absima specifically offers compatible motors and speed controllers separately.

The battery uses a Tamiya connector, so check the connector fitted to the vehicle's ESC before use.
