The HoBao Hyper VS2 Electric is a high-performance 1/8 scale 4WD brushless buggy combining race-inspired construction with the convenience of a Ready-To-Run package.

HB-VS2E-C15OY is the Yellow RTR version, featuring a strong 3mm CNC aluminium chassis, extensive 7075 aluminium components, three bevel-gear differentials, 17mm big-bore oil shocks and heavy-duty 4WD drivetrain.

Race-Inspired Hyper VS2 Platform

The Hyper VS2 uses a competition-style chassis layout designed to provide strength, predictable handling and easy adjustment.

HoBao equips the buggy with numerous CNC-machined 7075 aluminium components, including the front and rear shock towers, steering rack and suspension hardware.

3mm CNC Aluminium Chassis

At the heart of the VS2 is a tough 3mm CNC-machined aluminium chassis.

New composite side guards and rear mud guards help keep dirt and debris away from the chassis and drivetrain while providing additional protection during off-road use.

Full-Time 4WD

Power is delivered through a four-wheel-drive drivetrain using heavy-duty driveshafts.

Front, centre and rear bevel-gear differentials provide smooth power distribution, while updated anti-leak differential housings and hardened lightweight steel outdrive cups improve durability.

CNC Cam-Lock Motor Mount

The brushless motor is secured using a CNC aluminium cam-lock style motor mount.

This design provides a strong and precise mounting system while making gear-mesh adjustment straightforward.

17mm Big-Bore Oil Shocks

The Hyper VS2 features large 17mm oil-filled big-bore shock absorbers with substantial 4mm shock shafts.

The large-capacity shocks provide consistent damping over jumps and rough terrain while offering plenty of adjustment for different surfaces and driving styles.

7075 Aluminium Shock Towers

Both the front and rear shock towers are manufactured from 4mm-thick CNC-machined 7075 aluminium.

The strong shock towers provide multiple suspension mounting positions and help withstand the impacts associated with 1/8 scale buggy driving.

Fully Adjustable Suspension

The Hyper VS2 features front and rear anti-roll bars, front pivot-ball suspension and strengthened composite upper and lower suspension arms.

Both camber and caster are adjustable, allowing the suspension geometry to be tuned to suit different track conditions and handling preferences.

MOD 1 Gearing

The VS2 uses heavy-duty MOD 1 gearing, with a 16-tooth pinion and 48-tooth spur gear listed for this version.

A complete set of ball bearings is also fitted throughout the chassis and drivetrain.

Yellow Factory-Painted Body

HB-VS2E-C15OY comes with a distinctive factory-painted Yellow buggy body.

A quick-release body mounting arrangement uses a single clip for fast access to the chassis and electronics.
