Hobao Hyper VS 1/8 Brushless Electric Buggy RTR – Blue

The Hobao Hyper VS is a high-performance 1/8 scale 4WD brushless buggy designed to deliver an excellent combination of speed, durability and handling. Built as a true Ready-to-Run platform, the Hyper VS is equally suited to fast recreational off-road driving, jumping and drivers looking to take their first steps into 1/8 scale buggy racing.

At the heart of the Hyper VS is a powerful Hobbywing 150A waterproof brushless system, providing plenty of performance for a wide range of driving conditions. The versatile power system can accommodate a variety of LiPo battery configurations, allowing drivers to tailor the performance to suit their experience and intended use.

The Hyper VS is built around a hard-anodised aluminium chassis designed to provide an excellent balance of strength, rigidity and weight. Hobao has reinforced key areas of the buggy, including strengthened front and rear suspension arms along with heavy-duty 4mm front and 3mm rear shock towers, helping the VS withstand the punishment associated with high-speed off-road driving.

Suspension performance is handled by large 17mm diameter threaded big bore shock absorbers. These oil-filled shocks provide smooth and consistent damping over rough surfaces and jumps, while threaded shock bodies allow spring preload and ride height to be easily adjusted.

Front and rear anti-roll bars help control chassis movement through corners, while the revised front C-hub assembly and front universal driveshafts provide responsive and predictable steering. The combination of a wide stance, balanced chassis and adjustable suspension gives the Hyper VS stable handling whether running on a prepared track or enjoying general off-road use.

A heavy-duty steering servo provides strong and responsive steering performance, while the enclosed radio box helps protect the receiver and electronics from dirt and debris. The large battery tray uses Velcro retaining straps, making it easy to accommodate a variety of suitable LiPo battery configurations.

Rear mud guards provide additional protection from dirt and debris thrown from the rear tyres, while a full set of ball bearings throughout the drivetrain helps provide smooth and efficient operation.
