The Traxxas TRX-4 2021 Ford Bronco combines authentic Ford-licensed styling with the exceptional trail capability of the proven TRX-4 platform. Finished in Shadow Black, this fully assembled scale crawler features a highly detailed clipless body, portal axles, remote-locking differentials and a remotely operated two-speed transmission.

Traxxas has faithfully recreated the sixth-generation Ford Bronco with injection-moulded door handles, side mirrors, fender flares, windscreen wipers and functional spare tyre. Unique Trail Sights extend from the LED-ready grille, while the detailed bumpers include tow hooks, a winch fairlead and rear receiver hitch.

The concealed clipless body mounting system eliminates traditional body posts and clips for a clean, scale appearance. Its internal quick-release mechanism holds the body securely on demanding trails while allowing it to be removed within seconds for chassis and battery access.

High-clearance portal axles raise the differential housings above obstacles while providing gear reduction at each wheel. This design increases ground clearance, reduces torque twist and helps transfer the motor’s power into controlled forward movement.

Remote-locking front and rear T-Lock differentials allow the drivetrain configuration to be changed directly from the transmitter. Run with the differentials open for a tighter turning radius, lock the front differential for additional traction or lock both axles for maximum climbing ability.

The remotely operated two-speed transmission offers precise low-range control for technical rock crawling and a higher gear for travelling along open trails. Electronic cruise control is also available through the included TQi four-channel transmitter for greater comfort during extended trail driving.

Power comes from a trail-tuned Titan 550 21-turn brushed motor and waterproof XL-5 HV electronic speed controller. Five driving profiles include dedicated Trail and Crawl modes with specialised drag-brake settings for controlled climbing and descending.

Threaded aluminium GTS shocks provide smooth oil-filled damping and easy ride-height adjustment. Canyon Trail tyres use Traxxas S1 rubber compound and trail-tuned foam inserts to provide dependable grip on rocks, dirt, mud and other challenging surfaces.

The TRX-4 Bronco arrives fully assembled and Ready to Drive after adding a suitable battery. A compatible NiMH or 2S–3S LiPo battery, charger and four AA transmitter batteries are required separately.
