The Traxxas TRX-4 1979 Chevrolet K10 High Trail Edition combines classic Chevrolet pickup styling with outstanding trail and rock-crawling capability. Finished in black with extensive chrome detailing, this Ready-to-Drive model features a factory-installed Long Arm Lift Kit, oversized tyres and the advanced TRX-4 four-wheel-drive platform.

The officially licensed Chevrolet K10 body captures the look of the legendary full-size pickup with a detailed front grille, chrome bumpers, side mirrors, door handles and scale accessories. A clipless mounting system eliminates visible body posts and clips while allowing quick access to the chassis and battery compartment.

The factory-installed Long Arm Lift Kit raises the K10 by approximately 25 mm compared with a standard TRX-4. Extended suspension links and 110 mm aluminium GTS shocks provide increased articulation, additional ground clearance and improved approach, departure and breakover angles.

Portal axles create an impressive 99 mm of centre ground clearance while reducing torque twist and stress on the drivetrain. Large 5.3-inch Canyon Trail tyres use Traxxas S1 rubber compound for dependable traction across rocks, mud and loose trail surfaces.

Remote-locking T-Lock front and rear differentials allow the driver to select the ideal drivetrain configuration from the transmitter. Leave the differentials open for a tighter turning radius or lock both axles to maximise traction over difficult obstacles.

The remotely operated two-speed transmission provides precise low-range control for technical crawling and a higher gear for travelling quickly along open sections of trail. Electronic cruise control is also available through the included TQi four-channel transmitter.

Power comes from the trail-tuned Titan 550 21-turn brushed motor and waterproof XL-5 HV electronic speed controller. Five selectable driving profiles include dedicated Trail and Crawl modes with specialised drag-brake settings for controlled driving on steep terrain.

A full-length steel ladder-frame chassis, metal drivetrain gears, sealed ball bearings and waterproof electronics provide the durability needed for serious trail adventures. The TRX-4 Chevrolet K10 arrives completely assembled and requires only a compatible battery, charger and four AA transmitter batteries before use.
