Team Associated DR10 Pro Reakt Lucas Oil 1/10 Brushless Drag Car RTR – ASS70036

The Team Associated DR10 Pro Reakt Lucas Oil is a purpose-built 1/10 scale 2WD brushless drag racing car, combining Team Associated’s race-proven chassis technology with an aggressive Pro Mod-inspired body and official Lucas Oil livery.

Based on Team Associated’s championship-winning short-course platform, the DR10 has been extensively configured for straight-line performance. It comes Ready-to-Run with a powerful Reedy brushless system, 2.4GHz radio equipment, DVC gyro-equipped receiver and metal-geared steering servo already installed.

Reedy Brushless Power

The DR10 comes equipped with a Reedy 3300Kv brushless motor matched to a high-power, water-resistant Reedy electronic speed controller.

The power system is compatible with 2S and 3S LiPo batteries, giving drivers the option of choosing a more manageable 2S setup or stepping up to 3S for significantly greater straight-line performance. Team Associated notes that 3S can provide approximately 50% more speed, although 3S may not be permitted under some sanctioned drag-racing rules.

DVC Dynamic Vehicle Control

Keeping a powerful rear-wheel-drive drag car pointing straight can be challenging, so the DR10 features Team Associated's DVC – Dynamic Vehicle Control system.

The 2.4GHz receiver incorporates an adjustable digital gyro, which can make automatic steering corrections to help maintain stability during hard acceleration. The amount of assistance can be adjusted to suit the track conditions and driver's preference.

Pro Mod Inspired Lucas Oil Body

The aerodynamic drag body is inspired by full-size Pro Mod drag racing machines and features an integrated rear spoiler together with the distinctive Lucas Oil racing livery.

A low-profile front bumper with integrated adjustable body mounts keeps the front end clean while helping achieve the low, aggressive stance expected from a dedicated RC drag racer.

Purpose-Built Drag Racing Chassis

Underneath the body is a low centre-of-gravity moulded composite chassis configured specifically for 1/10 drag racing.

A 2.6:1 ratio gearbox, heavy-duty sealed gear differential and externally adjustable slipper clutch provide a strong and tuneable drivetrain for transferring brushless power to the rear tyres.

The battery mounting system uses hook-and-loop straps and accommodates compatible NiMH, 2S LiPo and 3S LiPo battery packs.

Adjustable Wheelie Bar

Hard launches can quickly lift the front wheels, so Team Associated equips the DR10 with a three-position adjustable wheelie bar.

Optional larger wheelie-bar wheels are also included, allowing the setup to be adjusted according to the available traction, battery power and launch characteristics.

Race-Tuneable Suspension

Although supplied Ready-to-Run, the DR10 offers plenty of adjustment for drivers wanting to fine-tune their setup.

Adjustable suspension geometry and vertical ball ends allow front and rear roll centre adjustments, while the chassis uses 18 precision rubber-sealed ball bearings throughout for smooth and efficient operation.

Please Note

ASS70036 is the vehicle-only RTR version. The drive battery and charger are not included. Team Associated also produced 70036C with a 2S LiPo and charger and 70036C3 with a 3S LiPo and charger, so these versions should not be confused when creating the website listing.

For a good all-round setup, a quality 2S LiPo provides easier-to-manage performance, while 3S LiPo delivers substantially higher straight-line speed. Team Associated specifically lists its 2S #751 and 3S #755 Reedy packs as compatible options.
