Team Associated DR10 1/10 Brushless Drag Race Car RTR – Green – ASS70026

The Team Associated DR10 (ASS70026) is a purpose-built 1/10 scale 2WD brushless drag racing car, developed for the excitement of RC drag and No Prep racing. Finished with the striking green factory-painted body, the DR10 combines a proven Team Associated chassis platform with powerful Reedy brushless electronics, adjustable suspension and an integrated stability control system.

Supplied Ready-to-Run, the DR10 comes fully assembled with motor, ESC, steering servo, receiver and 2.4GHz transmitter already installed. Simply add a suitable battery, charger and transmitter batteries to get started.

Reedy 3300Kv Brushless Power

At the heart of the DR10 is a powerful Reedy 3300Kv brushless motor matched with a high-power, water-resistant Reedy brushless speed controller.

The battery compartment accommodates NiMH, 2S LiPo and 3S LiPo packs, allowing the power setup to be tailored to the driver's experience and intended use. Team Associated notes that 3S provides considerably more speed, although 3S may not comply with the rules used at some sanctioned drag racing events.

DVC Dynamic Vehicle Control

Putting brushless power through the rear wheels requires precise control, particularly during hard launches. The DR10 is equipped with Team Associated's DVC – Dynamic Vehicle Control receiver featuring a built-in adjustable digital gyro.

DVC can automatically make small steering corrections to help keep the car tracking straight under acceleration. The amount of assistance can be adjusted to suit the driver's preference and available traction.

Adjustable Wheelie Bar

Hard launches can quickly lift the front wheels, so the DR10 includes a three-position adjustable wheelie bar.

Optional larger wheelie-bar wheels are also included, giving drivers additional tuning possibilities depending on track preparation, available grip and power level.

Heavy-Duty 2WD Drivetrain

The rear-wheel-drive transmission features a 2.6:1 ratio gearbox, heavy-duty sealed gear differential and externally adjustable slipper clutch.

Rear CVA driveshafts provide reliable power transfer, while the aluminium top shaft reduces rotating weight and contributes to an efficient drivetrain. The vehicle also runs on 18 precision rubber-sealed ball bearings for smooth operation.

Adjustable Race Suspension

Although supplied RTR, the DR10 provides plenty of adjustment for drivers wanting to tune the car for different surfaces.

Rugged steel turnbuckles provide adjustable camber and front toe, while vertical ball ends allow front and rear roll-centre adjustments. This allows the chassis setup to be refined as traction and track conditions change.
