Tamiya 1/700 Japanese Aircraft Carrying Cruiser Mogami Plastic Model Kit

The Tamiya Japanese Aircraft Carrying Cruiser Mogami is a 1/700 scale plastic assembly model kit depicting the unique late-war configuration of the Mogami-class cruiser, equipped to carry eleven hydroplanes.

Please note this is an unassembled plastic model kit requiring assembly; paints, cement and hobby tools are not included and are required to complete the model.

Mogami was completed in 1935 as the first ship of her class with fifteen 15.5cm guns. Her main armament was later replaced with 20cm twin turrets, converting her into a heavy cruiser. Following severe damage in the Battle of Midway, her rear section was rebuilt as an aircraft deck capable of carrying eleven aircraft, while additional anti-aircraft guns were fitted.
