The Joysway Fishing Surfer JW-3251 is a purpose-built GPS-equipped RC surfcasting bait boat designed to take your fishing line, hook and bait far beyond normal casting distance.

Designed specifically for shore and surf fishing, the Fishing Surfer combines twin brushless motors, GPS navigation, remote bait and hook release, self-righting capability and a long-range 2.4GHz radio system in a rugged hull capable of operating in challenging water conditions.

With an operating range of up to approximately 500 metres, the Fishing Surfer allows anglers to position bait accurately in areas that may otherwise be impossible to reach from shore.

Designed for Surfcasting

Unlike a conventional RC boat, the Joysway Fishing Surfer has been specifically developed as a tool for shore-based fishing.

Your fishing line is connected to the boat while the bait and hook are carried in the dedicated release system.

Simply drive the boat to your chosen fishing location and activate the remote release function to drop the bait and hook exactly where required.

This allows anglers to reach deeper water and offshore fishing locations without relying solely on casting distance.

Up to 500 Metre Operating Range

The Fishing Surfer uses a long-range 2.4GHz radio system with an operating distance of up to approximately 500 metres under suitable conditions.

This gives the boat the range required to carry bait well beyond conventional surfcasting distances.

GPS Navigation System

An integrated GPS system adds an impressive level of functionality to the Fishing Surfer.

The GPS system provides:

Once you've found a productive fishing location, the position can be stored so the boat can return to the same area for subsequent bait drops.

One-Button GPS Return

The One-Button Return function provides additional peace of mind when operating the Fishing Surfer at long distances.

Activate the return function and the GPS system can guide the boat back towards its original home location.

This is particularly useful when operating hundreds of metres offshore.

4 Fishing Spot Memory

The GPS system can store up to four fishing locations.

Once a productive location has been found and stored, the Fishing Surfer can help you repeatedly place your bait in the same area.

This makes the system particularly useful when fishing known underwater structures, drop-offs or other productive locations.

Twin Brushless Motor Power

The Fishing Surfer is powered by twin brushless motors, providing the power required to push through surf and carry fishing tackle offshore.

The dual-motor configuration provides strong propulsion and manoeuvrability while also eliminating the need for a conventional steering rudder.

Replacement motor information for the 3251 platform identifies the motors as 1300KV brushless units.

Approximately 3 Metres Per Second

The powerful twin brushless propulsion system is capable of driving the Fishing Surfer at approximately 3 metres per second, or around 10.8km/h.

This allows the boat to reach distant fishing locations relatively quickly while still providing the control required for accurate bait placement.

Remote Bait & Hook Release

The Fishing Surfer incorporates a dedicated radio-controlled bait and hook release system.

Load your bait and hook into the release area, drive the boat to your desired fishing location and activate the release directly from the transmitter.

This allows heavy baits and fishing rigs to be transported offshore without needing to cast them.

Self-Righting Hull

Surf conditions can be unpredictable, so the Fishing Surfer incorporates a self-righting hull design.

If the boat is overturned by a wave, the hull is designed to return itself to the upright position.

This is an important feature for a boat designed to operate well offshore and in more demanding water conditions.

Designed for Rougher Water

The Fishing Surfer was designed specifically with surf fishing in mind.

Its waterproof hull and self-righting design allow it to handle considerably more challenging conditions than a typical recreational RC boat.

Published specifications indicate operation in waves of up to approximately 1 metre, although conditions should always be assessed carefully before launching.

LED Navigation Lights

Front and rear LED navigation lights make it easier to identify the position and direction of the boat at longer distances.

This is especially useful in lower-light conditions or when the Fishing Surfer is operating hundreds of metres offshore.

Low-Voltage Warning

A built-in low-voltage warning system helps alert the operator when the boat's battery is becoming depleted.

Transmitter Battery Indicator

The 3251F package was sold with a fish finder included, while the standard 3251 does not normally include the fish finder.

The Fishing Surfer uses a high-capacity LiFePO4 battery system, designed to provide the endurance required for repeated offshore bait drops.
