Joysway E1 RaceBird Lite JW-8608 1/14 RC Hydrofoil Boat RTR

The Joysway E1 RaceBird Lite JW-8608 is an officially licensed 1/14 scale RC hydrofoil racing boat, inspired by the full-size RaceBird used in the UIM E1 electric powerboat championship.

Unlike a conventional RC boat, the RaceBird uses functional hydrofoils that lift the hull above the water as speed increases, reducing drag and creating a unique foiling experience.

The complete RTR package includes the 7.4V 900mAh Li-ion battery, USB balance charger, 2.4GHz radio and transmitter batteries.

Functional Hydrofoil Design

The standout feature of the RaceBird is its working hydrofoil system.

As the boat gains speed, the foils generate lift and raise the main hull above the surface of the water. This reduces drag and recreates the distinctive appearance and handling of the full-size E1 RaceBird.

Joysway describes the JW-8608 as its first foiling electric RC boat.

Up to 25km/h

The RaceBird Lite is capable of speeds of approximately 25km/h.

Its combination of lightweight construction, hydrofoil technology and water-cooled power provides an exciting and very different experience compared with a traditional RC speed boat.

Water-Cooled 390 Motor

Power comes from a 390 brushed motor with gearbox.

A water-cooling system helps manage motor and ESC temperatures while the boat is operating.

2.4GHz Proportional Radio

The included 2.4GHz digital proportional radio system provides precise throttle and steering control.

Joysway specifies an operating range of approximately 200 metres, providing plenty of range for normal recreational use.

Battery & Charger Included

The RaceBird Lite comes with a 7.4V 900mAh Li-ion battery and matching 2S USB balance charger.

Four AA batteries for the transmitter are also supplied, making this a complete Ready-to-Run package.
