Hornby TT:120 BR Princess Coronation 4-6-2 46232 'Duchess of Montrose' Digital brings the powerful and distinctive Princess Coronation Class to Hornby's compact 1/120 TT:120 range. Finished as British Railways 46232 'Duchess of Montrose' for Era 4, this sound-fitted locomotive combines Stanier's celebrated 4-6-2 Pacific design with Hornby's HM7000 digital control system.

The Princess Coronation Class originated from development work on the Princess Royal Class and was produced in both streamlined and conventional forms. 'Duchess of Montrose' entered service in 1938 as LMS 6232 in Crimson Lake before being transferred to British Railways and renumbered 46232 in 1947. Under BR ownership, the locomotive carried three different liveries before being scrapped at Crewe in November 1963.
