The Hobbywing EZRUN MAX10 G2S 80A & 3652SD G3 5400KV Combo (HW38010208) is a high-performance sensored brushless power system designed for fast 1/10 scale on-road, buggy, rally and lightweight short course applications.

Pairing the latest MAX10 G2S 80A ESC with Hobbywing's 3652SD G3 5400KV sensored brushless motor, this version is aimed at drivers wanting maximum RPM and strong top-end performance from a 2S LiPo setup. Unlike the 3300KV and 4100KV versions, the supplied 5400KV motor is specifically rated for 2S LiPo operation.

High-Performance 5400KV Sensored Motor

The included EZRUN 3652SD G3 5400KV is a 4-pole sensored brushless motor designed to deliver rapid acceleration and high motor speed while retaining the smooth throttle response of a sensored system.

Its CNC-machined aluminium housing assists with heat dissipation, while precision bearings and a 4-pole rotor provide a combination of efficiency, torque and responsive power delivery. Both the motor and ESC feature IP67-rated protection for added durability in demanding RC environments.

Built-In Bluetooth Programming

The MAX10 G2S incorporates its Bluetooth module directly into the power switch. This allows you to connect the ESC directly to the Hobbywing HW LINK App without needing to purchase a separate Bluetooth module.

From your smartphone you can adjust ESC parameters, review recorded running data and perform firmware updates.

Internal Data Logging

The MAX10 G2S includes built-in data recording, allowing you to review the latest 10 minutes of running data through the HW LINK App.

Information such as throttle input, voltage, current, temperature and motor RPM can be reviewed after a run, making it easier to fine-tune gearing and ESC settings.

Turbo Timing

When used with a compatible Hobbywing motor, the MAX10 G2S supports up to 20 degrees of Turbo Timing, allowing additional top-end motor performance when required.

With a high-RPM 5400KV motor, careful gearing and temperature monitoring are particularly important when increasing timing.

Adjustable High-Voltage BEC

The switch-mode BEC can be adjusted between 6.0V, 7.4V and 8.4V, providing support for a wide variety of standard and high-voltage steering servos.

The BEC provides 5A continuous output. Hobbywing notes that a 3S input battery is required to access the 7.4V and 8.4V BEC settings; however, because the supplied 5400KV motor is a 2S motor, this combo should be treated as a 2S power system when used with the included motor.

Please Note

The HW38010208 is the 5400KV version and should be used on 2S LiPo with the supplied motor. Do not assume that because the MAX10 G2S ESC supports 3S, the included 5400KV motor can also be operated on 3S. Hobbywing's motor limits specify a maximum of 4200KV with a 3652-size motor on 3S.

Correct gearing is important with a 5400KV motor. Start conservatively and monitor motor and ESC temperatures, particularly when increasing pinion size or Turbo Timing.
