HoBao Hyper VS2 1/8 4WD Nitro Buggy .30 RTR – Yellow – HB-VS2-30Y

The HoBao Hyper VS2 is a high-performance 1/8 scale 4WD nitro buggy combining race-inspired construction with the convenience of a Ready-To-Run package.

HB-VS2-30Y is the Yellow RTR version, powered by HoBao's large Hyper .30 pull-start nitro engine and equipped with a 2.4GHz radio system, 18kg metal-geared digital steering servo, 17mm big-bore shocks and polished tuned exhaust system.

Hyper .30 Pull-Start Engine

Power comes from the HoBao Hyper .30 nitro engine, providing plenty of torque and performance for high-speed off-road running.

The pull-start system allows the engine to be started without a separate starter box, making the VS2 particularly convenient for recreational nitro users. A polished aluminium tuned pipe and header are fitted as standard.

Heavy-Duty 4WD Drivetrain

The Hyper VS2 uses a full-time four-wheel-drive system with heavy-duty driveshafts and front, centre and rear bevel-gear differentials.

Updated anti-leak differential housings and hardened lightweight steel outdrive cups provide additional durability for demanding off-road use.

CNC Aluminium Chassis

At the heart of the VS2 is a 3mm thick CNC-machined aluminium chassis with composite side guards and rear mud guards.

HoBao also uses extensive 7075 aluminium components, including the front and rear shock towers, steering rack, turnbuckles and suspension hardware.

17mm Big-Bore Shocks

Large 17mm oil-filled big-bore shocks with substantial 4mm shock shafts provide controlled suspension damping over rough terrain and jumps.

The front and rear shock towers are manufactured from 4mm CNC-machined 7075 aluminium for excellent strength and rigidity.

Fully Adjustable Suspension

The VS2 features front and rear anti-roll bars, front pivot-ball suspension and reinforced composite suspension arms.

Both caster and camber are adjustable, allowing the buggy's handling characteristics to be tuned for different track surfaces and driving styles.

18kg Digital Steering Servo

A HoBao HB-5518MG digital steering servo is fitted as standard.

The servo features metal gears, ball bearings and 18kg-cm of torque, providing strong steering performance for the large 1/8 scale buggy.

2.4GHz Radio System

The included 3-channel 2.4GHz FHSS radio system provides adjustable dual-rate steering and throttle.

With the radio gear, servo and nitro engine already installed, only the required starting equipment, fuel and batteries need to be added before running.

The Hyper VS2 is supplied assembled with the engine and radio equipment installed. To get running you will also need nitro fuel, a suitable turbo glow plug, glow starter, 4 x AA transmitter batteries and 4 x AA receiver batteries.
