Hobao Hyper VS 1/8 Nitro Buggy .30 RTR – Red

The Hobao Hyper VS is a high-performance 1/8 scale 4WD nitro buggy designed to combine race-inspired handling with the durability and convenience of a Ready-to-Run package. Built for fast off-road driving, the Hyper VS is equally suited to recreational bashing, jumping and drivers looking for a capable platform for club-level racing.

Power comes from the Hobao H-3032T .30 size nitro engine, giving the Hyper VS plenty of torque and strong acceleration. The larger .30 engine makes this version an excellent choice for drivers wanting more punch from their RTR nitro buggy, while the matched tuned exhaust system helps provide efficient engine performance throughout the rev range.

The Hyper VS uses a full-time 4WD drivetrain to provide excellent traction and predictable power delivery across loose and uneven surfaces. Front universal driveshafts and a fully ball-bearing-supported drivetrain help provide smooth, efficient operation while standing up to the demands of high-performance nitro driving.

A newly designed chassis provides a strong and rigid foundation for the suspension and drivetrain. Hobao has also strengthened the front and rear suspension arms to improve durability during hard off-road use, while hard-anodised components are used throughout the buggy for additional strength and wear resistance.

Suspension performance is handled by large 17mm threaded big bore oil-filled shock absorbers featuring heavy-duty 4mm shock shafts. The large-volume shocks provide consistent damping over rough terrain and jumps, while the threaded shock bodies make spring preload and ride-height adjustments quick and easy.

Rigid 4mm front and 3mm rear shock towers provide strong mounting points for the suspension. Front and rear anti-roll bars help reduce chassis roll through fast corners, giving the Hyper VS stable and predictable handling whether accelerating down a straight, attacking a series of jumps or changing direction through tighter sections.

The revised C-hub front suspension design helps provide responsive steering and improved control. Heavy-duty steering and throttle servos are fitted as standard, while the enclosed radio box helps protect the receiver and electronics from dirt and debris encountered during off-road use.

A large 150cc fuel tank provides plenty of capacity for extended running, while rear mud guards help reduce the amount of dirt and debris reaching the suspension and chassis.

Supplied Ready-to-Run with a factory-finished red buggy body and 2.4GHz radio system, the Hobao Hyper VS .30 offers an excellent combination of big-block nitro power, tough construction and proven 1/8 scale buggy handling.
