HoBao Hyper GTB 1/8 4WD Nitro On-Road RTR – Grey – HB-GTL-C28G

The HoBao Hyper GTB is a large 1/8 scale 4WD nitro on-road GT car designed for high-speed street running, car-park bashing and track use. HB-GTL-C28G is the Grey Ready-To-Run version, powered by HoBao's MacStar .28 pull-start nitro engine and equipped with an adjustable automatic 2-speed transmission.

MacStar .28 Nitro Engine

Power comes from the HoBao MacStar .28 pull-start engine, giving the GTB plenty of performance without requiring a starter box.

A polished tuned exhaust pipe and low-profile air filter are fitted as standard.

Automatic 2-Speed Transmission

One of the standout features of the Hyper GTB is its steel-geared adjustable automatic 2-speed gearbox.

The transmission automatically shifts into second gear as speed increases, giving the GTB strong acceleration combined with impressive high-speed performance.

4WD 3-Differential Drivetrain

The Hyper GTB uses a shaft-driven four-wheel-drive system with front, centre and rear differentials.

This proven layout provides reliable power distribution and excellent traction, while a lightweight centre driveshaft helps reduce rotating mass.

17mm Big-Bore Shocks

HoBao equips the GTB with 17mm big-bore oil-filled shocks and heavy-duty springs.

Front and rear anti-roll bars, adjustable droop screws and low-profile shock towers provide plenty of chassis adjustment for street driving, drifting or track use.

Dual Disc Brakes

A powerful dual-disc brake system provides the stopping performance required for a fast and relatively heavy 1/8 scale nitro GT car.

Large 150cc Fuel Tank

The GTB features an oversized 150cc fuel tank, providing good run time between refuelling stops.

An easy-pull fuel tank cap makes pit stops and refuelling straightforward.

Heavy-Duty 18kg Steering Servo

Steering duties are handled by a heavy-duty 18kg servo, providing the torque needed to control the large GT wheels and tyres.

The radio gear is protected inside an enclosed radio box, and a 2.4GHz radio system is included as standard.

GT Body & Racing Slick Tyres

The Hyper GTB comes with a street-inspired GT-style body and low-profile racing slick tyres.

Moulded light buckets are included with the body, allowing optional LED lighting to be installed for an even more realistic appearance. A shaped foam front bumper provides additional protection underneath the body.

What's Included

The HB-GTL-C28G comes assembled as an RTR package with the Hyper GTB chassis, painted Grey GT body, MacStar .28 pull-start engine, tuned pipe, steering servo and 2.4GHz radio system.

Required to Complete: Nitro fuel, glow starter/nitro starter equipment, glow plug and 8 x AA batteries.

Stealth Grey Components

HoBao made a rolling production change to this model. The chassis and other anodised components that were previously Burnt Orange are now finished in Stealth Grey, so some older product photographs may show different coloured alloy components.
