The Gens Ace iMars D300 Plus is a powerful dual-channel AC/DC smart charger designed for R/C enthusiasts who need fast, flexible and easy-to-manage battery charging. Building on the popular iMars D300 platform, the D300 Plus adds Bluetooth connectivity and app control, allowing charging information and historical data to be viewed directly from a compatible smartphone.

With a built-in AC power supply, 300W total charging power from mains power and up to 350W per channel / 700W combined when using a suitable DC power source, the D300 Plus is equally at home on the workshop bench or at the racetrack.

Dual Independent Charging Channels

The D300 Plus features two independent charging channels, allowing two batteries to be charged at the same time.

Each channel supports charging currents from 0.1A to 16A, making the charger suitable for everything from smaller receiver packs through to high-capacity R/C car, boat and aircraft batteries.

When powered from AC mains, the charger provides up to 300W of intelligently distributed charging power between the two channels. Connect the charger to a suitable 7–30V DC power supply and maximum output increases to an impressive 350W per channel.

Bluetooth App Control

One of the major upgrades of the D300 Plus is built-in Bluetooth connectivity.

Using the Gens Ace app, you can remotely manage the charger and view real-time battery and charging information directly from your smartphone. The system can also retain historical charging records, making it easier to keep track of battery performance over time.

This is particularly useful for racers and enthusiasts managing multiple batteries, as charging information can be monitored without constantly standing directly in front of the charger.

G-Tech Smart Battery Support

The D300 Plus is fully compatible with the Gens Ace G-Tech Smart Battery system.

When a compatible G-Tech battery is connected, the charger can automatically recognise battery information and configure appropriate charging parameters, simplifying the charging process.

Simply connect a compatible G-Tech battery and the charger handles much of the setup automatically. Conventional non-G-Tech batteries can also be charged using the normal manual charging modes, making the D300 Plus useful even if your battery collection includes multiple brands.

Supports Most Popular R/C Battery Types

The D300 Plus isn't limited to LiPo batteries. It supports a wide range of battery chemistries commonly used throughout the R/C hobby.

Lithium battery support includes LiPo, LiHV, Li-ion and LiFe packs from 1S through to 6S, while NiMH and NiCd packs from 1–16 cells are also supported.

This makes it suitable for R/C cars, trucks, crawlers, boats, aircraft and many other hobby applications.

Balance Charging

Integrated 1–6S cell balancing helps ensure individual lithium cells remain correctly matched during charging.

Accurate balancing is particularly important with multi-cell LiPo batteries, helping ensure that one cell isn't being overcharged while another remains below the target voltage.

The D300 Plus provides up to 1.2A balancing current per cell on each channel, helping it efficiently balance larger-capacity packs.

Charge, Discharge & Storage Functions

The iMars D300 Plus isn't simply a battery charger.

It provides the essential battery-management functions required by serious R/C enthusiasts, including charging, balancing, discharging and storage functions.

Storage mode is particularly useful for LiPo batteries that won't be used immediately, allowing them to be brought to an appropriate storage voltage rather than being left fully charged for extended periods.

Eight-Level Safety Protection

Gens Ace has incorporated an extensive eight-level protection system into the D300 Plus.

Protection functions include safeguards against overheating, excessive current, over-voltage, reverse polarity, short circuits, disconnected wiring, incorrect cell-count detection and abnormal battery voltage.

While correct battery charging practices should always be followed, these integrated systems provide an additional level of protection during normal operation.

2.4-Inch IPS Display

A bright 2.4-inch IPS LCD display provides clear access to charging information and settings.

The interface allows charging parameters, battery information and operating status to be viewed directly on the charger, so smartphone connectivity isn't required for normal operation.

AC or DC Operation

The D300 Plus incorporates its own power supply for convenient operation directly from 100–240V AC mains power.

For maximum output, it can alternatively be powered from an external 7–30V DC source.
