The ARRMA GORGON MEGA 550 is a tough, easy-to-drive and highly upgradeable 1/10 scale 2WD monster truck, making it an excellent choice for anyone getting started with hobby-grade RC.

Built with ARRMA's legendary bash-friendly durability, the GORGON combines a rugged composite chassis, oil-filled suspension, huge monster truck tyres and a powerful MEGA 550 brushed motor with reliable Spektrum electronics.

The ARA3230ST5 comes completely assembled and Ready-to-Run in the striking Blue colour scheme, with the battery, Smart charger and transmitter batteries included.

Ready-to-Run with Battery & Charger

The GORGON ST5 package includes almost everything needed to get driving.

ARRMA supplies a Spektrum 8.4V 3300mAh 7-cell Smart NiMH battery with IC3 connector together with a Spektrum S120 USB-C Smart charger.

Spektrum Smart technology makes charging straightforward. When a compatible Smart battery is connected, the charger automatically detects the battery information and selects the appropriate charging profile.

MEGA 550 Brushed Power

Power comes from a MEGA 550 14-turn brushed motor, providing plenty of performance for backyard and off-road bashing.

ARRMA rates the GORGON at speeds of 20+ mph / 32+ km/h.

The brushed power system makes the GORGON particularly suitable for newer drivers. It's fast enough to be exciting without the extreme acceleration of a high-powered brushless truck.

50% & 75% Throttle Limiting

The included Spektrum SLT2 2.4GHz transmitter features selectable throttle limiting.

New drivers can start with the maximum throttle reduced to 50%, move up to 75%, and eventually use 100% power as their skills and confidence improve.

This makes the GORGON an excellent choice for younger or first-time RC drivers.

Spektrum Waterproof Electronics

The GORGON is equipped with a Spektrum waterproof SLT 2-in-1 40A ESC and receiver.

It provides smooth proportional throttle control and is also compatible with a 2S LiPo battery, giving owners an easy upgrade path when they're ready for additional performance.

Steering is handled by the tough Spektrum S660 waterproof digital steering servo.

Brushless-Ready Transmission

One of the biggest advantages of the GORGON is its upgrade potential.

Although supplied with a brushed motor, ARRMA designed the drivetrain to be brushless ready.

You'll just need a suitable USB-C power source for the S120 charger. ARRMA recommends an 18W+ QC 2.0/3.0 USB power adapter for best charging performance; the USB power adapter itself is not included.
