The XRAY XB8E’26 is XRAY’s latest-generation 1/8 scale electric competition buggy, engineered for racers looking for maximum performance, precision and adjustability on demanding off-road tracks.

Based on XRAY’s highly successful XB8 platform, the XB8E combines a purpose-built electric drivetrain with premium materials, extensive chassis tuning options and race-proven suspension geometry. The result is a professional-level 4WD buggy designed for everything from club racing through to international competition.

The XY350163 is supplied as an unassembled competition kit, allowing the racer to select their preferred motor, ESC, servo, radio equipment, batteries, wheels and tyres.

Purpose-Built Electric Racing Platform

Rather than simply adapting a nitro buggy for electric power, the XB8E chassis layout is optimised around the requirements of a high-performance brushless system.

Careful positioning of the motor, battery and electronics helps achieve balanced weight distribution and predictable handling. The layout also provides racers with extensive setup possibilities to tune the car for different track surfaces, grip levels and driving styles.

Fully Adjustable Suspension

The XB8E suspension provides a huge range of adjustment, allowing experienced racers to fine-tune the buggy for changing track conditions.

Camber, toe, caster, ride height, shock position, anti-roll bars, differential setup and suspension geometry can all be adjusted. This allows the XB8E to be configured for everything from low-grip loose dirt through to high-grip prepared racing surfaces.

High-Efficiency 4WD Drivetrain

A full-time 4WD drivetrain transfers brushless power through front, centre and rear differentials.

The drivetrain is designed to operate smoothly and efficiently while handling the substantial power generated by modern 1/8 competition brushless systems. Different differential oil viscosities can be used to significantly alter steering response, rotation, forward traction and overall stability.

Competition-Grade Shock Package

Large-volume oil-filled aluminium shocks provide consistent damping over long races and demanding track conditions.

The shocks offer extensive tuning through different pistons, oils, springs, preload and mounting positions, giving racers the ability to precisely control chassis movement, jumping characteristics and mechanical grip.
