Fokker Triplane DR.1: A journey through time to the beginnings of model making This kit breathes history – in two respects. The Fokker DR.1 is not only probably the most famous fighter aircraft of the First World War, but this model is also a real legend from Revell. Manufactured with the original tools from 1957, it is one of the oldest aircraft models that we still own. As a strictly limited edition, this kit in the extraordinary 1/28 scale offers the rare opportunity to experience model building as it began over 65 years ago. History: The Fokker Dr.I (triplane) was the most maneuverable aircraft on the Western Front in 1917/1918 and was inextricably linked to the flying ace Manfred von Richthofen. Its three wings provided enormous lift and tight turning radii. This kit captures the myth of this aircraft, but at the same time preserves the technical state of the model building industry in 1957. Features: Historical forms: “Tool from 1957” – hold a piece of Revell company history in your hands. The design reflects the charm of the early kit era. Large scale: In 1/28 (over 26 cm wingspan), the triplane looks particularly impressive and stands out clearly from the usual 1/72 or 1:48 models. Cult status: For many long-time model builders, this kit is a journey back to their own childhood. A real collector's item. Challenge Level 4: As is usual with historical shapes, real craftsmanship is required when adjusting and gluing the 60 parts together. Collectible: As a limited edition, availability is limited - ideal for fans who are looking for something special. What's in the box? Plastic model kit (unassembled, historical molds from 1957) Illustrated, multilingual building instructions Decal set
