The Traxxas TRX-4 1979 Chevrolet K10 combines iconic square-body pickup styling with the proven performance of the TRX-4 Scale and Trail platform. Finished in black with extensive chrome detailing, this Ready-to-Explore trail truck delivers impressive scale realism, dependable four-wheel-drive traction and outstanding ground clearance.

The officially licensed Chevrolet K10 body features a detailed grille, chrome bumpers, side trim, mirrors, door handles and windscreen wipers. LED-ready headlights and tail lights allow additional scale lighting to be installed, while the concealed clipless mounting system maintains the body’s clean appearance.

High-clearance portal axles lift the differential housings above trail obstacles while providing gear reduction at each wheel. This design produces 80 mm of centre ground clearance, reduces torque twist and helps the truck maintain controlled forward movement on steep or uneven terrain.

The front and rear axles are permanently spool-locked, ensuring that all four wheels receive equal power. With no differential slippage, the K10 delivers dependable climbing traction across rocks, roots, mud and loose surfaces.

A durable single-speed transmission uses steel internal gears and provides the torque required for challenging trail driving. Its simplified design reduces weight and helps improve the truck’s centre of gravity while providing reliable, low-maintenance operation.

Power comes from the Titan 550 21-turn reverse-rotation brushed motor and waterproof XL-5 HV electronic speed controller. Five selectable drive profiles include dedicated Trail and Crawl modes with specialised drag-brake settings for precise control on steep climbs and descents.

Threaded aluminium GTS shocks deliver smooth, oil-filled damping and allow easy ride-height adjustment. Pre-mounted 1.9-inch Canyon Trail tyres use Traxxas S1 rubber compound and trail-tuned foam inserts for dependable grip across a wide variety of surfaces.

The extended steel ladder-frame chassis features a long 336 mm wheelbase for improved stability. Steel front CV driveshafts, hardened rear axle shafts, sealed ball bearings and waterproof electronics provide the durability required for regular trail use.

The TRX-4 Chevrolet K10 arrives fully assembled and requires only a compatible battery, charger and four AA transmitter batteries before use.
