The Tsum 1000 type was introduced in 1950 and was a typical ventilation freight car with a structure designed to allow ventilation to prevent perishable foods such as vegetables from being damaged during transportation, and was used all over the country. The Tsum 1 type, which appeared as the first 15-ton ventilation freight car, was changed to the Tsum 1000 type when it was modified with a two-stage link, but there are also vehicles that were newly built as the Tsum 1000 type from the beginning.
