The Suhafu 43 series is a standard seat brake van of the Suha 43 series manufactured for express trains in 1950. The conductor's room is located on the outside of the deck, and there is a rear observation window on the end of the car. It was originally painted in the standard brown color for old passenger cars (grape color No. 2), but was later changed to blue, mainly for cars that were modernized with fluorescent interior lights.

• The underfloor is reproduced as an electrically heated car equipped with a transformer
• The car number is selectable and a transfer sheet is included
• The taillights on the end panel on the conductor's compartment side can be lit
• Uses a new current collecting system and black wheels
• Compatible with optional self-coupled TN couplers
