This is a plastic assembly model kit of the Japanese Ground Self Defense Forces (JGSDF) Type 90 main battle tank. It entered service in 1990 and is armed with a 120mm smoothbore main gun and comes fully loaded with hi-tech equipment. The model accurately reproduces the tanks distinctive angular silhouette which features multi-composite armor. The 120mm main gun has been faithfully reproduced with the main gun's telescope lens depicted by clear transparent parts for added realism. Separately molded suspension parts provide the model with a rich detailed finish. Also included with the kit are accessory parts to depict the canning tower and exhaust ducts that allow the tank to ford, as well as a tank commander and gunner figure (total 2).
