Tamiya golf racing gr. 2 (m-05)

This is the tamiya volkswagen golf mk. 1 grp. 2 1/10 on road kit. Using a kamei-sponsored volkswagen golf mk. 1 polycarbonate body, tamiya has recreated this racing icon. The golf mk. 1 became an instant classic when it was released in 1974 as customers found this sporty hatch was a more than just another compact car. Soon the golf mk. 1 found it's way to racetracks and the legend was born. This kamei-sponsored livery brings back the glory days of competition for the golf mk. 1

This high performance body sits atop tamiya € s m-05 fwd chassis platform, which is easy to assemble and provides nimble and responsive front wheel drive handling characteristics. The m-05 is a simple to build front wheel drive machine, which allows for plenty of after-market parts to be outfitted as you grow with your skill. The lightweight, narrow, semi-monocoque frame offers an optimized weight distribution and a low center of gravity. A ground-hugging 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension and a 3-piece steering linkage ensure excellent stability during high-speed cornering. Three wheelbase lengths (210mm, 225mm, 239mm) are possible by simply switching the position of the rear suspension parts, enabling a wide range of body choices available from tamiya. This specific kit includes a hobbywing thw-1060 brushed esc for incredible performance.
