This model assembly kit is an updated re-issue of item 24031 1/24 audi quattro with updated decals, instruction manual and packaging. The audi quattro played a significant role in moving four-wheel drive vehicles away from being the exclusive domain of heavy off-road cars. While the body was like the audi coup â©, its flared fenders and spoilers front and rear hinted strongly at its high performance, but its full-time four-wheel drive was naturally the main talking point. Power was provided by a 2,144cc inline-five-cylinder engine with a turbocharger and intercooler that output an impressive 200hp. While the car itself remains an ageless classic, the quattro name is also still used by audi for its four-wheel drive system
