The Type 38 light tank destroyer Hetzer is a German tank destroyer from World War II. Production started in April 1944, and it was deployed to the German Army Tank Destroyer Batalion and the SS Armored Grenade Division from July of the same year; 75 of this vehicle were also provided to the Hungarian Army. This tank was very cheap, had good productivity and a high utilization rate. BMM and Skoda produced a total of 2,827 of this vehicle until May 1945.
