The NXE 4200mAh 2S 7.4V 40C Rounded Hard Case LiPo Battery is a versatile power pack designed for RC cars requiring dependable 2S LiPo performance while retaining the traditional rounded stick-pack battery shape.

Featuring a 4200mAh capacity, 40C discharge rating, durable rounded hard case and factory-fitted Tamiya-style connector, this battery is particularly useful for RC vehicles originally designed around conventional NiMH stick packs.

Rounded Stick-Pack Design

One of the main advantages of the NXE4200HCR402STAMIYA is its rounded hard-case construction.

Rather than the square-edged shape found on many competition LiPo packs, the rounded profile closely resembles a traditional NiMH stick battery. This can make installation easier in older or recreational RC vehicles with moulded battery compartments designed specifically around rounded stick packs.

The rigid outer case also provides additional protection for the LiPo cells against impacts, vibration and debris encountered during normal RC car use.

4200mAh Capacity

With 4200mAh of capacity, this pack offers a good balance between runtime, physical size and weight.

It's a practical everyday battery for compatible RC cars, buggies and trucks and can make a useful LiPo upgrade for models previously running a 7.2V NiMH battery, provided the vehicle's ESC supports 2S LiPo operation and has suitable low-voltage protection.

40C Performance

The battery's 40C discharge rating provides strong current delivery for a wide range of compatible brushed and brushless RC systems.

Its standard 2S configuration provides 7.4V nominal voltage, increasing to a maximum of 8.4V when fully charged.

This makes it suitable for many 1/10 scale recreational and performance RC applications where a standard 2S LiPo is specified.

Tamiya-Style Connector

This version of the NXE 4200mAh rounded hard-case battery comes factory fitted with a standard Tamiya-style connector.

This makes it particularly convenient for compatible vehicles already equipped with a Tamiya connector, eliminating the need to change plugs or use an adaptor.

For models equipped with a Deans / T-Plug connector, NXE also offers the corresponding NXE4200HCR402SDEANS version.

Please Note

This is a standard 2S 7.4V LiPo battery, not a LiHV battery. It must be charged using a suitable LiPo balance charger to a maximum of 8.4V (4.2V per cell).

If upgrading a vehicle previously using a NiMH battery, make sure the ESC is LiPo compatible and has low-voltage cut-off protection. Do not use a LiPo battery with an older NiMH-only system unless the electronics are suitable.

Before purchase, also check that your model can accommodate the 138.5 × 46.5 × 24mm battery and uses a compatible Tamiya-style connection.
