The NXE 4200mAh 2S 7.4V 40C Rounded Hard Case LiPo Battery is a versatile rechargeable battery designed for RC cars requiring dependable power, useful runtime and the traditional rounded stick-pack battery shape.

Featuring a 4200mAh capacity, 40C continuous discharge rating, durable rounded hard case and factory-fitted Deans / T-Plug connector, this pack is a great option for upgrading compatible RC vehicles from NiMH to LiPo power or replacing an existing 2S LiPo battery.

Rounded Hard Case Design

One of the key features of the NXE4200HCR402SDEANS is its rounded hard-case profile.

Unlike square-edged competition-style LiPo packs, the rounded shoulders give the battery a shape similar to traditional NiMH stick packs. This can make it particularly useful in RC vehicles with moulded or rounded battery trays originally designed around stick-pack batteries.

The rigid outer case also provides additional protection for the LiPo cells against impacts, vibration and debris encountered during normal RC car use.

4200mAh Capacity

With 4200mAh of capacity, this pack provides a good balance between runtime, weight and physical size.

It is a practical everyday battery for compatible 1/10 scale RC cars, buggies and trucks, while NXE also lists it as suitable for 1/10 and 1/8 buggy applications where its dimensions and electrical specifications are appropriate.

40C Continuous / 80C Burst Performance

The battery provides a 40C continuous discharge rating with an 80C burst rating, giving it the ability to supply the current required by a wide range of compatible brushed and brushless RC power systems.

Its standard 2S configuration provides 7.4V nominal voltage, increasing to 8.4V when fully charged.

Deans / T-Plug Connector

The battery comes fitted with a Deans / T-Plug main power connector, making it ready for use with compatible ESCs without requiring an additional adaptor.

A separate JST-XH balance connector is provided for monitoring and balancing the individual cells during charging.
