A new model featuring a next-generation platform makes its debut in the globally booming 1/8 EP buggy scene !

The 1/8 scale EP (electric) racing buggy is an R/C car category that is gaining popularity worldwide, with the first IFMAR (International Federation of Model Cars) World Championships scheduled to be held in 2025. Kyosho is now entering this exciting category with a highly anticipated new model. The model being introduced is the MP11e, based on the 1/8 GP buggy Inferno MP11, which underwent a renewal in 2025 after a six-year hiatus. At first glance, the MP11e might seem like just an EP conversion of the GP buggy, and while it uses suspension and drivetrain components from the MP11, it actually incorporates numerous original designs and parts to achieve performance that can "win" even in world-class races.

The layout with a front motor and batteries distributed on both sides was pioneered by the Inferno series, but the MP11e optimizes the balance by making it exclusively for short and medium batteries, and the motor is positioned closer to the chassis centerline to further enhance its handling performance. The center gearbox, designed to handle the immense power of the brushless motor, now features adjustable spur gear height, allowing for a wide range of gear ratios. The completely redesigned body, specifically for the MP11e, is shaped to accommodate modern speed controller sizes and enhances aerodynamic performance, contributing to exceptional handling characteristics. The suspension, proven in the MP11, can also accommodate optional parts for that car, providing a definite advantage in races where quick setup changes are required depending on the situation. Building on the strengths of the previously released MP11, the MP11e incorporates a design specifically for EP models, delivering not only competitiveness in races but also a high-level driving experience to the user.

• Front and rear weight balance is optimized by revising the mounting position of the R/C mechanism and battery. The latest middle-size batteries can also be installed. *Full-size batteries are not possible.
• Adopts a new body and rear wing design with high aerodynamic performance.
• The position of the rear wing can be changed by changing the spacer sandwiched between the rear wing stay and the rear wing.
• 0.8 module pinion and spur gears that have excellent drive transmission and allow for fine adjustment of the gear ratio.
• Center drive shaft that adopts a dogbone style that is effective in improving traction performance.
• Front and rear suspension with new geometry adopted in the MP11.
• Aluminum front hub carrier with a kingpin angle of 12° is standard equipment for improved stability at high speeds.
• Features long-type diaphragm front and rear oil dampers for stable operation.
• Front and rear damper stays are made of highly rigid A7075 duralumin. The rear damper stay is also lightweight.
