The Bell UH-1Y Venom is a modern American multi-role helicopter with a fixed landing gear, a conventional main rotor configuration, and a boom-mounted tail rotor. Power is provided by two General Electric T700-GE-401C engines, each with a maximum power output of 1,828 hp. The first prototype flew in 2001, and production began the same year. The aircraft is 17.78 meters long, with a rotor diameter of 14.88 meters.
