The HoBao Hyper MTX is a heavy-duty 1/8 scale 4WD brushless monster truck designed for serious off-road bashing. Built around a strong 7075 aluminium monocoque chassis, the MTX combines a powerful 4S–6S Hobbywing brushless system, all-metal transmission gears, large-bore suspension and oversized monster truck tyres.

HB-MTXE-C150BU is the Blue Ready-To-Run version, supplied with a Hobbywing 150A ESC, 2000Kv brushless motor, 32kg waterproof digital steering servo and HoBao 2.4GHz radio system.

Powerful 4S–6S Brushless System

The Hyper MTX comes factory equipped with a Hobbywing 150A brushless ESC capable of operating on 4S to 6S LiPo power.

The ESC features cooling fan, programming card and dual XT90 battery connectors. It's paired with a powerful 2000Kv 4-pole brushless motor with a 40mm diameter can and 5mm output shaft.

Heavy-Duty 7075 Aluminium Chassis

One of the standout features of the Hyper MTX is its 7075 aluminium monocoque chassis frame.

The strong aluminium construction provides a rigid foundation for the drivetrain and suspension while helping the truck withstand the hard impacts associated with large-scale bashing.

Full-Time 4WD

Power is transferred through a heavy-duty all-wheel-drive drivetrain with front, centre and rear differentials.

The drivetrain incorporates all-metal transmission gears, steel bevel differential gears, hardened steel outdrive cups and heavy-duty driveshafts for durability under high-power 6S operation.

32kg Waterproof Digital Servo

Steering is handled by a powerful 32kg-cm 7.4V digital servo.

The servo features a coreless motor, metal gears and waterproof construction, giving it the torque needed to control the Hyper MTX's large monster truck wheels and tyres.

17mm Big-Bore Oil-Filled Shocks

The Hyper MTX features large 17mm big-bore oil-filled shocks with long-stroke construction and substantial 4mm shock shafts.

Adjustable spring perches allow preload and ride height adjustments, while specially treated shock shafts and reinforced components are designed to improve durability during hard landings.

Heavy-Duty Suspension

Reinforced composite lower suspension arms are combined with heavy-duty universal joints, upgraded steering components and strengthened front and rear shock tower braces.

A centre roll bar and aluminium shock stiffener plate further reinforce the chassis for demanding off-road use.

Monster Truck Wheels & Tyres

Large monster truck tyres are mounted to tough 6-spoke grey wheels using industry-standard 17mm hexes.

Aluminium wheel hubs and anti-loosening aluminium wheel nuts provide a secure connection for high-power driving.

Wheelie Bar

With up to 6S LiPo power available, the Hyper MTX is capable of producing serious acceleration.

A large rear wheelie bar helps control the truck under hard acceleration and provides additional protection during high-power bashing.

Hyper MTX vs Hyper MT Plus II

It's worth noting that HB-MTXE-C150BU is the Hyper MTX, not the Hyper MT Plus II from the previous HB-MT2-C150BU listing.

The MTX uses a 7075 aluminium monocoque chassis, 17mm big-bore shocks and revised suspension and chassis components. Its dimensions are approximately 635 × 495 × 290mm with a 396mm wheelbase.

Both trucks use a powerful 150A / 2000Kv 4S–6S brushless setup, but they are different HoBao platforms.

Built for Serious Bashing

At around 6.4kg, the Hyper MTX is a substantial RC monster truck. Its combination of a 7075 aluminium chassis, metal transmission, 150A Hobbywing ESC, 2000Kv motor, 32kg steering servo and 6S capability makes it designed for customers wanting something considerably more serious than a typical 1/10 basher.
