Hornby TT:120 LNER Class A1 4-6-2 4472 'Flying Scotsman' Digital - Era 3 (Sound Fitted)

Bring 'Flying Scotsman' to life with the Hornby TT:120 LNER Class A1 4-6-2 4472 'Flying Scotsman' Digital, a detailed Era 3 model complete with a pre-fitted HM7000 Bluetooth sound decoder, opening up wireless app-based control and authentic locomotive sound effects.

This is a ready-to-run, fully assembled model railway locomotive; no assembly is required out of the box.

The A1 Class will always be tied to the name Sir Nigel Gresley, though the design itself began life as a Great Northern Railway project. These powerful 'Pacific' locomotives comfortably outperformed the ageing Atlantics they replaced on the run between London and the North, and upon amalgamation into the LNER became some of the most versatile engines in Britain. 4472 was built in 1923 as one of the class's LNER-era examples and is the only member of the A1 Class to survive into preservation. The trials and triumphs 'Flying Scotsman' has faced since have made it one of the most famous steam locomotives ever built.
