This GNER Driving Van Trailer comes with directional lighting, extra detail accessories and a 21-pin decoder socket so you can fit an HM7000 decoder and speaker, giving it sound options. This DVT is compatible with GNER Mk4 coaches and a GNER Class 91 locomotive. Following privatisation of Britains railways in 1996, the first franchise holder on the East Coast Main Line was GNER Great North Eastern Railway which operated the route until December 2007. Trains were normally formed of a Class 91 electric locomotive, nine Mk4 carriages and a DVT (Driving Van Trailer). The DVT design was based on the Class 91 locomotive and boasted a full-width cab and a luggage compartment with space for bicycles and a train managers office.
