FMS 3000mm (118") FOX Aerobatic Electric Glider PNP – FMS107P

The FMS 3000mm FOX is a large-scale electric aerobatic glider designed to combine the graceful soaring characteristics of a sailplane with the power and control authority needed for aerobatic flying.

With an enormous 3000mm wingspan, a powerful 4258-KV460 brushless motor, functional flaps and six high-torque 23g servos, the FOX is capable of everything from relaxed soaring through to loops, rolls, stall turns and inverted flight.

Quick-Release 3 Metre Wing

Despite its impressive size, FMS has designed the FOX to be practical to transport and assemble at the flying field.

The model features FMS's screw-free snap assembly system for most of the airframe, including a quick-release wing system. FMS states the wing can be released in approximately 5 seconds, making a 3-metre aircraft considerably easier to transport and store.

Powerful 6S Brushless System

The FOX comes factory equipped with a 4258-KV460 brushless motor and Predator 60A ESC with XT90 connector. It is designed around a 6S 22.2V 5000mAh LiPo, giving the large glider plenty of power for climbing and aerobatic manoeuvres.

FMS quotes approximately 30 minutes of potential flight time with the recommended 6S 5000mAh battery, although actual duration will vary significantly with throttle use, flying style and conditions.

Aerobatic Performance

The FOX isn't limited to thermal soaring. Its large control surfaces and powerful brushless system allow it to perform a wide range of aerobatic manoeuvres.

FMS specifically highlights positive and negative loops, stall turns, point rolls and inverted flight among the manoeuvres the aircraft is capable of performing.

Functional Flaps & Folding Propeller

Six factory-installed 23g servos operate the aircraft's primary controls, including its functional flaps.

A folding propeller reduces drag when the motor is switched off, allowing the FOX to transition from powered climbing into more traditional glider-style soaring.
