The Dumas Hobie Cat Kit #1101 is an all-wood model of the famous Hobie Cat 14 catamaran, designed as an enjoyable building project that can also be sailed on calm water once completed.

With a finished length of 14 inches (356mm), a wide twin-hull catamaran design and an impressive 22-1/4 inch (565mm) mast, this compact sailboat has plenty of character. Dumas supplies the kit with nylon sails and describes it as easy to build and particularly suitable for beginners.

Classic Hobie Cat Design

The Hobie Cat became one of the most recognisable recreational sailing catamarans, combining twin hulls with a lightweight platform and large sail area.
