Classic Carlectables 1/18 Holden VP Commodore - Storm-Interrupted Glory: The Dramatic 1992 Bathurst 1000

The 1992 Tooheys 1000, held on 4 October at Mount Panorama, was the 33rd running of the Bathurst 1000. Jim Richards and Mark Skaife claimed victory for the second consecutive year in their Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R after the race was stopped on lap 144 due to a heavy rainstorm and multiple crashes. The final results were declared based on the standings at the end of lap 143. Dick Johnson and John Bowe finished second in a Ford Sierra RS500, with Anders Olofsson and Neil Crompton third in another Nissan GT-R. Win Percy and Allan Grice secured fifth in the Holden Racing Team's VP Commodore after a strong and steady drive in challenging conditions.
