The GX 470 brings even more variety to the SCX24 line of crawlers, and Axial made no compromises in order to reproduce it in 1/24 scale. RC crawling fans of all experience levels will appreciate its features, performance, and realistic detail. Fully equipped, fully assembled, and affordably priced, the GX 470 is an easy addition to any 1/24 scale RC collection.
In RC just as in full scale, the appeal of overlanding has less to do with the destination than the experiences you have while getting there. Indoors or out, the GX 470 loves adventure. If your journey takes you through a little mud or up a rocky trail, this rig is ready for the challenge.
After all, no Axial crawler is built just for show. The GX 470 features steel C-channel frame rails, steel front and rear axles, and steel dogbones for the strength to tackle tough climbs and rough trails. Powered by an 88-turn brushed motor, the full-time 4-wheel drivetrain spins on sealed cartridge bearings and uses a worm screw and worm gear setup in the differentials to boost ground clearance. The 4-link rear suspension reduces axle steer and torque twist, and oil-filled shocks provide a smooth, plush ride. It packs big-time performance into a 1/24 scale package.
With its officially licensed, extra-durable ABS hard body, the GX 470 matches that performance with an exceptional amount of scale realism. The body comes factory-finished in white, silver, or black, and is topped off with scale accessories and working lights. Officially licensed Black Rhino Raid wheels and Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tires complete the picture while boosting the rig s capability to conquer a wide range of surfaces.
High-quality accessories round out this 100% ready-to-run package. Adjustments on the Spektrum SLT2 2.4GHz transmitter let you fine-tune steering control to suit your personal preferences. On a full charge, the Spektrum 350mAh LiPo battery provides 30+ minutes of uninterrupted run time. Recharging is quick and convenient using the Spektrum USB-C LiPo charger. Axial even includes the four AA batteries you ll need for the transmitter.

The SCX24 Lexus GX 470 RTR achieves a high level of scale realism with its officially licensed, exceptionally detailed, extra-durable ABS hard body. The body comes equipped with scale accessories and is available factory-finished in white, silver, or black.
Oil-filled shocks allow the GX 470 suspension to articulate smoothly over rough terrain. You can adjust the preload to fine-tune your rig for your handling needs.
The Spektrum SLT2 2-channel radio system included with the GX 470 offers high-end features such as throttle/steering travel adjust and throttle limiting. The RTR package is so complete, even AA transmitter batteries are included.
Just like the 1/10 scale SCX10 platform, the SCX24 chassis used for the GX 470 features rugged and sturdy steel C-channel frame rails with bracing to keep everything intact and aligned.
The installed Dynamite 88T brushed motor provides the right amount of torque for making steep climbs. It's mated to an aluminum motor mount to keep flex to a minimum and protect the gears.
The front and rear differentials each house a worm screw and worm gear setup to get the power to the axles and create higher ground clearance. You can take the GX 470 into rough terrain with confidence.
The front and rear axles consist of a two piece, molded composite solid axle design. For optimal handling, the SCX24 suspension features a three-link front and four-link rear setup.
Steel front and rear axles, front stub axles and steel dogbones provide the strength needed to keep running with confidence during tough climbs and over rough trails.
The front and rear drive shafts are splined and sleeved to allow for maximum suspension travel while keeping the power to the wheels.
The rear suspension geometry of the SCX24 platform uses a 4-link design which is optimized to reduce axle steer and torque twist.
Just because the GX 470 is small doesn't mean its features follow suit. There are no bushings here the drivetrain spins freely on sealed ball bearings throughout the entire vehicle.
For maximum realism, working lights are included on the front corners of the scale hard body and in the front bumper. All four corners of the body feature molded lenses.
