All mediterranean fishing boats are of similar appearance, just presenting some differences on the design depending on the place they were built. The mare nostrum was built at the spanish harbour of arenys de mar. It has an overall length of 15 meters, a beam of 3. 5 meters with a displacement of 10 tons, powered by a 40hp diesel engine
